By using the Hill Explorer application ("App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Description of Service

Hill Explorer is an augmented reality application designed to identify hills, peaks, and points of interest based on your location.

2. Not a Navigation Tool

The App is not a navigation or safety tool.
It is intended for informational and recreational purposes only.

3. Accuracy of Information

We do not guarantee that:

  • Displayed locations are accurate
  • Elevation data is correct
  • Objects are correctly identified

Device sensors, GPS accuracy, and map data may cause inaccuracies.

4. Use at Your Own Risk

You use the App entirely at your own risk.

We are not liable for:

  • Personal injury
  • Property damage
  • Loss of data
  • Any direct or indirect damages

This includes situations where the App provides incorrect or misleading information.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features are available through subscription ("Ultimate") or temporary unlocks ("Premium").

  • Payments are processed via Google Play
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • You manage subscriptions through your Google account

We do not issue refunds. Refunds are handled by Google.

6. Advertising

The App may display advertisements (e.g., Google AdMob).
We are not responsible for third-party ad content.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer the App
  • Misuse the service
  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems

8. Intellectual Property

All rights to the App (excluding third-party data) are owned by the developer.

9. Third-Party Data

The App uses external data sources (e.g., OpenStreetMap, Copernicus DEM).
We do not control the accuracy or availability of this data and are not liable for any issues arising from it.

10. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the App or services.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
